Reno Mattress
The reno mattress is a structure made of hexagonal double twisted wire mesh, as perEN 10223-3. Reno mattresses are filled monolithic structures shch as river band protection and channel linings for erosion controlling. The steel wire used to manufacture the mattress is heavily zinc-coated soft steel. In order to reinforce the structure, all mesh panel edges are knitted with a wire of greater diaeter. Reno mattresses are divided into uniformly partitioned cells by internal diaphragms.
